CROSS COUNTRY

Students in grades 5-8 are eligible to participate in cross country. Practices are held after school, opposite the nights that soccer and volleyball practices are held. Students participate in one to three meets each season. One cross country meet is held on the Wednesday before MEA weekend. The meet starts in the early afternoon. Runners compete against students in their same grade level from the area’s Lutheran Grade School League. At times, other meets are found to participate in.
