Our goal is to prepare students to live productively as citizens in the world around them and to grow spiritually as they prepare to serve their Lord while here on Earth and ultimately arrive home in heaven to live with their Savior for eternity.

Good Shepherd Lutheran School views technology as a tool which can be used to enhance student learning both secularly and spiritually as we strive to fulfill our mission.

Various forms of technology will be used to assist students in becoming dynamic learners in the following areas:

Good Shepherd Lutheran School will focus on key areas according to individual grade levels in the following manner:

Grades K –  Most technology is used for classroom presentation to aid learning. Students will use computers for educational reinforcement. Students will be able to use our interactive SMART TV’s for additional hands-on learning experiences.

Grades 1-4  – Technology is used for classroom presentation to aid learning. Students will use computers and Chromebooks for educational reinforcement and computer typing skills.

Grades 5-8 – Technology will be used to read Scripture, carry out research, create reports, create presentations, conduct MAP testing, complete assignments and online assessments, and learn and practice coding skills.
