Hot Lunch

Thanks to Minnesota’s Free School Meals Program every student in grades K-8 can receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day. Good Shepherd Lutheran students have access to healthy, nutritious meals every day. Preschoolers are able to order hot lunch only each day for a $4.20 charge.

We’re continuing our partnership with CKC Good Foods, whose meals meet USDA and Minnesota Department of Education standards and are consistently well‑liked by students.

Breakfast
Families in grades K-8 will need to pre‑order breakfast a month in advance. Breakfast is served from 7:45am-8:05am.

Lunch
School lunches must be pre‑ordered monthly through our Sycamore School ordering system. You’ll receive reminders when the ordering window opens and closes.

• Orders can be changed only while the ordering window is open.
• Once the window closes, we cannot add or remove meals because orders are sent to CKC and the school becomes financially responsible.
• If there’s a menu item your child doesn’t enjoy, feel free to send a lunch from home.
• Strive to maintain organizational and financial responsibility for the school

To access hot lunch ordering, please log into Sycamore and choose your child’s meals.

Special Diets
An allergen-free menu is available. To order from this menu, we must have a doctor‑signed special diet form on file with our hot lunch coordinator. Only students with approved forms will be able to order from this menu.

A second meal option is available on request for a cost of $5.15. You must contact Mrs. Halse to add this to your orders.
